Humming Meditation for Blissful State of Mind
Humming Meditation calms the mind and prepares you for meditation. This is great for beginners as wells as advanced meditators, as with practice, it naturally and effortlessly slows the breath, resonating the humming sound within the cranium, harmonizing heart and mind.
How To Do It:
- Sit in on the floor with legs crossed or in a chair with a straight spine, eyes gently closed.
- Take a full and complete inhalation
- Hold the breath without force a couple seconds
- Release the breath with a long slow humming sound, keeping the mouth closed, lips together.
- As you exhale with the sound, be aware of the vibration inside the cranium as it vibrates the head centers at the mid brow and crown center.
- Enhance the vibration by closing the ears with the forefingers as you exhale with the sound.
- Complete 5-10 rounds
